Yearbooks and magazines

Schools produce yearbooks and magazines that highlight events during the school year.  These books may have details of

  • Principal, teachers and students
  • Class photos
  • School activities such as sporting teams, music etc

School histories

This is a collection of books produced by schools to celebrate school jubilees and centenaries or independant research.  The books may have details for

  • Development in a district that drove the need for a school
  • Short biographies of families, students (especially World War servicemen) and teachers
  • List of principals, teachers and students
  • Photos of districts, schools, teaching staff and classes.

You may have noticed there are gaps in the collection that we need help to close.

Can you help?

The index lists all the yearbooks and magazines in our collection.

We are looking for books or magazines from

  • a missing year
  • a school that is not yet listed, or
  • magazines or newsletters that we don’t know about yet.

You can also help us start a new collection for other school memorabilia such as art, literature and sporting activities.
