About our Group Progress Meetings
Each group reports and organises activities pertinent to their group project, while it could be a research or acquisitions, website and advertising, event or fundraising, or special project related. Each Group Progress Meeting is conducted to make decisions on society processes and activities, acquisitions and directions, as well as initiate new ideas about fundraising, and propose new thoughts on marketing and strategic planning, just to mention a few purposes, as well as striving to dot the I’s and cross the T’s.
Anyone is welcome to attend these meetings, with the option to join and become a member of the society to participate in voting and decisions is open. And, we are always looking for volunteers and members to help.
The Gympie Family History Society Inc is a friendly and casual group of like minded people dedicated to collecting and preserving local family histories and regional social history, while continuing to run the society as a self funded volunteer organisation.
