DNA and brickwall group
Learning about DNA
Come and learn or share information about DNA matching. You never know where it takes you till you start looking.
Topics being discussed can include
- selecting a company for DNA testing
- understanding your DNA results, or
- using your DNA to grow your family tree in genealogy programs.
Attendees are encouraged to set topics that interest them for future meetings or suggest guest speakers.
Follow us on Facebook to stay up to date with the discussion.
Breaking down brickwalls
Researching your family history can be fun, and yet it can get disappointing or frustrating when your avenues for research, or your family history clues, dry up. Maybe you have problems understanding documents, or maybe they do not have enough information.
More often than not, someone else has already run across the problems you are facing, so maybe as a group, we all know several heads are better than one, and we can be help each other.
Cost
Members: $5.00
Non-members: $10.00
Tea, coffee and light refreshments are included.
